Questions about iPhone in warranty repair

my 6 plus has spot in rear camera. shows in camera app , photos, in same place. it's more obvious in lighter backgrounds. i've attached couple of pictures.

not have apple store near me. apple phone support diagnosed issue , said hardware related. opted send in repair under warranty.

questions are: repair phone or replace phone? if replace, new phone unlocked?

phone in pristine condition, unlocked , issue it's experiencing. prefer repair.
