Reading the time

i've not had lot of time think 1 through, i've had quick discussion someone.

you're aware of short delay before watch face shows up. mine set go watch (analog face, arms).

morning (australian time, i've had watch 24 hours now), found myself looking @ watch see time times, find put arm down without getting reading of time is! i've not worn watch 13 years, think problem might present regular watch wearers watching apple watch.

thoughts on why might case:

• on watch clock face visible, can start getting preliminary readings on time/finding location of minute hand before reaches position full/final read. when final reading happens, know time , after brief pause, can lower arm.
• on apple watch, can't reading until watch in reading position in front of eyes, , after you've waited ~0.5seconds until face appears. now, spend ~0.5+ seconds focussing on hands read them.

end read time of, say, twice long watch 'always on' face.

said not quite reading time before lowering wrist: think there's built in expectation (won't muscle memory) should have read time already, i'm automatically putting arm down. i'm writing , practicing leaving wrist longer, feels rather unnaturally long period keep arm read time.

i'll used it, no doubt (or hopefully). thoughts wanted share.
