Have problem to reinstall Mac OS on my MBP

hi,
have mid 2012 mbp,
replace hdd wd blue 1tb 2.5 hdd,
when hear start sound click on alt, wifi window, put password click on "internet recovery", when it's choose "disk utility", "erase" , make new name "macbook hd", create parition takes long long time, what's problem ?

i think you're supposed turn on mac, , when screen lights up, press , hold command + r until apple logo appears. take os x utilities. there should button says "reinstall os x", allow install latest version of os x on new disk. make sure connected, , selected when asked installation destination.
