Photos app question - option to delete items after importing from iOS device

hi all,

after having migrated iphoto/aperture library photos, noticed every time plug ios device in import, option delete items after import available, sometimes, not appear @ all.

ideas what's wrong? has else experienced well?

i don’t think there explanation. likewise, photo stream ‘album’ disappears sidebar no apparent reason.

else happening on iphone @ moment? maybe (icloud) backup or itunes sync?
