rMB as second machine to a new 13" rMBP?

i bought new 2015 13" rmbp 2,9 ghz i5, 16gb ram , 1tb ssd. bought machine use thunderbolt display @ work , @ home , lot of video conferencing @ work meeting room. far :)

travel whole lot - 3-4 times month on plane. wonder if should rmb secondary machine travel. make sense? besides second purchase need keep data in sync (not big issue email , cloud drives).

advice if rational use 13" rmbp home/work , rmb travel?

p.s.: not want consider ipad - went through iterations, need proper mac when on road , iphone 6 plus serves fine touch screen device.
 

if have money, why not. great travel machine!
