iPod touch 4th gen help

my trusty old 4th gen died water damage today. never updated ios 6 had original youtube app amazing. believe had updated ios 5 though don't remember. anyway thinking of buying used 4th gen online , wanted know..... possible me using ios if order 4th gen? miss already. used watching youtube , surfing gamefaqs when tired of ipad.
 

its not possible roll back, find 1 ios 5 on it??

perhaps current 1 repaired non apple repair place? logic boards can survive water if dried out, battery dies when ipod gets water damage.

3rd gen ipod touch not update past ios 5, you're guaranteed able have 1 youtube app on it.

alternatively, have tried of app store youtube clients? find far better google youtube app.

miss apple youtube app tbh!!

Battery Cycles

okay, know how battery cycles , work. want know is: how many cycles battery has how old battery is how many mah macbook shipped with how many mah have now reading thread on different site macbook batteries , commenting battery info. of them commenting saying reached 120 cycles per year. 1 guy said mac 3 years old on 250 cycles (avg. 83 year). think person had 400 after 2 years. in 'system information' says age of macbook 3 months old (when arrived said 1 months old, i've had 2 months) , have 98 cycles, using many cycles? i'm asking because realised apple batteries more or less useless @ holding charge after 1000 cycles , if i'm averaging 100 every 2 months gives me 1.7 years until macbook more or less desktop... to me seems poor previous windows laptops owned lasted long , expect lot more machine on £1k. (i have been told batteries in newer macbooks glued in place , replacing battery hard job , cost lots of money, mistake...

SSD Performing Poorly
