bug with the ambient light sensor in thunderbolt display since update of yosemite

i wondering if else having problem. have updated yosemite latest version , ambient light sensor in control panel not working correctly. despite tick in place slider control brightness not budging!

else had this? if how did fix it?

have tried pram reset , smc reset nothing has worked.
