Virus or Trojan Potentially?

hello. on website , tried download video. did not save file. tried opening it, wasn't able open video because .flv file extension. had never heard of website before , i'm worried maybe i've opened myself virus, trojan, or other form of malware. possible virus, trojan, or other form of malware downloading video?

in advance , advice.
 

duff-man says....flv extension used flash video files. if it's "iffy" source might suspicious if use tool clamxav scan d/l folder automatically you're going safe when downloading.

also, quick search of forum "virus" going give lot of info do. not do, when panic (rare) , when chill (most of time). there tendency panic , start new threads every odd happening "i have virus" when it's not case - little research goes long way....oh yeah!
