New Mc Pro vs 5K iMac

hi all,

im using 1,1 mac pro (with various upgrades), after 8 years, looking @ replacing (probably bit later year.

i'm tossing between new mac pro , 5k retina imac , hoping opinions on 2 systems.

either way i'm looking promise pegasus2 r4 4x 3tb western digital red drives setup in raid 5 storage. uses thunderbolt 2 connection, work either system.

actual machine, here 2 setups considering:

system a:
- 5k retina imac
- 4.0ghz processor upgrade
- 256gb ssd
- 16gb ram upgrade
- 4gb gpu upgrade

system b:
- new mac pro
- base 3.7ghz quad core processors
- 256gb ssd
- 16gb ram upgrade
- dual 3gb d500 gpu upgrade

mac pro doesn't have screen, although i'm using dell 30" monitor use , @ upgrading 4k/5k monitor down track.

mac pro system above $800 aud more expensive imac , don't need 5k resolution @ moment i'm leaning more towards mac pro, appreciate input guys.

graphic design (photoshop, illustrator) , video (premiere, after effects) stuff, along obvious web browsing, itunes, word processing , watching videos. no gaming , won't bother windows.

in advance!

it kinda depends, if want in 1 computer 5k. if want mac pro , need power it. there reason why called mac pro. call you. go mac pro because have , i'm guessing it. , in future can upgrade
