Pro vs Air 2015
so being dumbas* decided wait macbook air 12 (macbook retina 12inch), not noticing dollar in canada got weaker. going pull trigger on i5 256gb 8gb 13 inch air price got $1800 , brah thats lot of money, should wait annoucement.
prices of macbook pro 13inch , air's has gone $200 in canada, pay $2000 .... fml. , if buy macbook air 13, end paying $200 more ssd thats twice fast, assuming broadwells performance negligible, don't care graphics increase. wanted air because light weight , needed (school work , programming).
feeling idiot, see no reason cause paying $200 more faster ssd, why not pay $200 more fast ssd, +1 hour battery life , force touch trackpad. pros resale value gonna higher air (cause air's update more minor pro's)
weight isn't different, 13 inch pro @ 3.5 pounds , air 3 pounds. guys think weight difference massive?
air 13 inch i7 vs pro 13 inch i5 (the standard cheapest one). looked @ benchmarks , i7 there i5 (haswell), i5 beat i7 in couple of benchmarks, expected cause i5 takes more juice.
should guys:
macbook air 13 inch, 256gb 8gb i7
macbook pro 13 inch, 256gb 8gb i5
both cost me around $2000

my opinion? if price same, i7 prove nothing in computing tasks drain battery little faster. retina display in rmbp vast improvement, yosemite. have 2 mbas in house right , difference in displays night , day.
other differences, if matter. mba run longer without charge, i've never had trouble getting through day rmbp. rmbp has smaller footprint mba thicker @ front edge (they're +/- 1mm @ hinge end). rmbp weighs 8 ounces more mba, wouldn't matter people.
