Upgrading from 2012 iMac

looking buy mac pro, used/refurbished fine , system can build on time @ first top of line not major concern , need same performance of imac.


long story short, own 2012 imac 3.4ghz i7 2gb nvidia geforce gtx 680mx.

wanting upgrade mac pro can have similar or better performance + having option replace graphics card main reason wanting/needing upgrade.

when working in resolve have been running out of gpu memory led me believe it's due 2gb graphics card in system. upgrade mac pro @ least 4gb graphics memory , @ least knowing option further upgrade if possible.

if can me out appreciated, least expensive system can point me appreciated. stay within apple family, if it's expensive might looking @ pc , switching editing platform final cut premiere....

 

how upgrading looking do? can mac pro 4,1 2009 , upgrade it's cpu(s), ram, add dual nvidia video cards, pci ssd controller, etc.

okay, know how battery cycles , work. want know is: how many cycles battery has how old battery is how many mah macbook shipped with how many mah have now reading thread on different site macbook batteries , commenting battery info. of them commenting saying reached 120 cycles per year. 1 guy said mac 3 years old on 250 cycles (avg. 83 year). think person had 400 after 2 years. in 'system information' says age of macbook 3 months old (when arrived said 1 months old, i've had 2 months) , have 98 cycles, using many cycles? i'm asking because realised apple batteries more or less useless @ holding charge after 1000 cycles , if i'm averaging 100 every 2 months gives me 1.7 years until macbook more or less desktop... to me seems poor previous windows laptops owned lasted long , expect lot more machine on £1k. Weird behavior on external monitor
