Apple Bluetooth mouse has annoying lag

hey guys,

picked imac retina came apple bluetooth mouse. thing disconnects , reconnects multiple times day , seems have bit of lag.
in fairness i've been using wacom tablet years, pen, , wacom mouse. never noticed lag this.
suggestion appreciate it.
 

do have usb3 peripherals attached mac? known issue usb3 interfere bluetooth signal, i've heard mac mini, don't see why wouldn't effect imac well?
