Help! admob Interstitial Ads giving error "No UIViewController supplied to the ad"

the first interstitial ad loads fine,
2nd , onwards gives following error in nslog
code:
<google> no uiviewcontroller supplied ad. cannot continue.
in gameover void, says below :

any idea whats happening here?
why not picking self.viewcontroller?
