Worth reconditioning the 2011 MBA?

i've had 2011 mba 13 inch has served me faithfully past 4 years now. never had 1 issue it. i've upgraded yosemite, few of new features not supported now. not huge deal. i've seen speed issues , spinning beachball lot more though.

battery on mba starting degrade substantially. "service battery" on, , max of 2.5 hours of general use before having charge again, i'm going have swap battery.

i'm thinking of retiring mba despite still being pretty quick tasks throw @ 2015 rmbp 13. or should replace mba battery?

use cases general web surfing, light productivity work, etc. macbook not gaming machine so, have desktop that, "gaming" performance doesn't concern me.

4 years seems pretty considering how use has. don't want put money if doesn't go 2-3. general thoughts?
 

it'll go 2-3 if continue doing computer. i'd it's worth it.
