iCloud "borrowed" my music?

i not fan of complication known icloud; seems "convenience" rather without. if find actual use it, i'll waste valuable time trying figure out.

in itunes, there songs appear in icloud. these songs own , imported cds on 10 years ago, , available in icloud. not have itunes match; when download them 128k when imported them. , not saving space on hdd, songs appear there in library when navigate them in itunes music folder. except way play them in itunes download them again.

wtf? why icloud removing files? terrible friend fesses when ask "where's my...", , says "oh, sorry, borrowed when weren't looking". why not mind own business , leave owned, private content alone? , how stop doing this? need divorce.

ha.
it's when have content purchased not downloaded.
