WD Mybook for Mac not accesible

hello folks!

problem started last week when genious (yes, me :( ) moved imac external drive western digital mybook mac attached while final cut pro read/writing on device. usb cable disconnected, re connected , there when problem started.

drive icon disapeared desktop.
restarted computer , unlocker requested password thought nothing happened! yeah!... right after enter pass , hit return drive gets unlocked , error message pops saying drive needs initialized, ignore error or eject drive.

tried connecting drive windows 7 pc , same thing, can unlock drive seems impossible read information.

need advice, prefer not initialize/format drive since have few raw videos still need, , before using recovering tools wanted know if had similar situation before.

exact drive model is:
western digital book mac 1tb p/n wdbeks0020hbk-01
connected imac guess 2009/2010 , not sure osx version snow leopard. have late 2010 macbook pro mountain lion try if needed.

disk warrior might repair it, but
type of disconnect (during write) means format. luck
