do force touchpads still click when pressed

i havent been apple store in ages , im thinking of upgrading air 13 inch retina. wondering when click force touchpad still click or snap feeling when press or pressing finger on table no feedback.
 

the force touch trackpad feels old mechanical trackpad. (imo). feels slight bit different. here youtube video demos this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6r3eprgxpg

however, @ end of day won't able experience unless try out. finally, no trackpad not 'click' magnetic inside give feeling being clicked.
