Internal or External SSD??

last january upgraded mac mini basic(late 2012) ram 4gb 16gb. want upgrade 500gb hard drive either 128gb external or internal ssd. due buying refurbished 2gb apple time capsule apple store, have decided 128gb ssd sufficient.

if go "internal", need pay mac tech few , far between here in costa rica.

so, recommendations appreciated on "what road take"??

in-expensive , fast internal drive.
