Webcam or possible Camera?

currently helping friends set equipment. going pro or air laptop, need camera , trying keep simple possible , cost down now.

filming workout style videos (yoga) private group , posted video sharing site. 1 camera angle, not move during 20-60 minute long video. said webcam still on fence on idea. audio has excellent. if go webcam, have suggestions? or suggestions reasonably priced stand alone camera?

or best bet tell them upgrade iphone6?
 

using iphone camera fine. audio recorder zoom h1 , put together.
