Macbookpro 15- mechanical engineering

im plannin on getting macbook pro 15 (base model). mechanical engineering student. doing graduate studies in same stream. wanted know if softwares ansys , abaqus , solidworks work in base model. using windows. not sure if through bootcamp or parallels. me out guys.
 



solidworks not run because not have supported graphics cards on macs. went through our son has have school.

know not looking for, wound getting him 1 under 700.00 , runs nvidia geforce 840m (2 gb ddr3 dedicated) card. envy surprisingly solid built sound. 1 has far faster yosemite spinning beach ball.
