Apple TV NEVER works!

not sure how else describe it, apple tv plays fine couple songs, , cuts out or song stops altogether. when streaming itunes on mbp, it's no longer in play mode , button appear orange until press play again. streaming iphone has same result.

have tried everything, resetting device, network settings, updating it... etc.

i've owned couple of them, , lived in few different apartments different network setups, , same result.

really, want work. brilliant fixes i'm not thinking of? i'm sure others experience too.
 

interference other wifi networks and/or poor router can't maintain solid connection. guess has nothing appletv @
