Record a midi file

i have app creates midi files , convert midi file ringtone or mp3 or acc file.
can't find info dilemma.
possible record midi file being played, using swift code?
heaps.

not in swift (yet). can record play on ios if use audio units play synthesized midi, , audio unit callbacks have coded in c (at least partially).

documentation on ausampler audio unit. may need use avassetreader , avassetwriter apis convert pcm audio samples .m4a or .m4r format. it's not simple code. tons of documentation on apple's web site, little sample code appropriate need.
