have newly acquired 2010/2012 mac pro (identical specs base 2012 16gb ram before cylinder came be) radeon hd 5770 - know final cut pro x use dual 5770's yield impressive results. plan fcpx when able, now, imovie.


imovie 10? utilize gpu opencl acceleration, believe does, couldn't find definitive, accelerated exactly? , imove use dual gpu's fcpx?
 

i believe lot of heavy lifting done in both apps lies within avfoundation, quicktime's replacement. since shared among apps on os, effects rendering , things of nature should accelerated.
