All iPads Anyone tried the Wacom Fineline?

hi everyone,

so, i've had trouble gosmart 200 stylus breaking (twice, lasting around 4 months each), , while customer service has been fantastic, i'm looking upgrade possibly electronic fine-tip stylus.

currently, i'm eyeing wacom fineline, , wondering if had experience it? there's mix of positive , negative reviews on amazon, , not many reviews online or many demos on youtube. i'd know is:
-how work on ipad air 1 , 2? have ipad air 1, i'm upgrading when ipad air 3 comes out (i made mistake of getting 16gb of storage , i'm struggling through it), , concern is, if stylus won't compatible ipad versions after air 1. wacom's website said fineline (but not intuos creative stylus 2) compatible air 2 isn't optimised. first-hand experience?
- how bad offset on unsupported apps (as 'dumb' stylus) , supported apps? goodnotes 4 preferred note-taking app, , supports stylus, other apps use (e.g. pdf expert, notability, sketchbook pro) not.
-how stylus screen protector on? i'm thinking of buying 0.3mm tempered glass screen protector off ebay current screen protector needs replacing.
-general feedback/impressions of stylus?

other option considering possibly getting new adonit jot pro , if experience issues skipping, switching tip gosmart one. questions had is:
-does new (all-metal) jot pro have same size tip old one? gosmart tip work?
-is line off-centre? issue i've had gosmart there offset between line , centre of tip annoying accuracy, why i'm considering adonit.
-how new stylus compare older 2nd gen adonit jot pro?

i'm willing consider other styluses, i'm looking @ wacom's it's cheaper lot of other styluses (e.g. adonit jot script & touch) while being pressure sensitive (and has shortcut button). plus, it's wacom. considered styluses such jot script , lynkec's apex rechargeable, former requires battery (added ongoing expense), , latter's tips wear down quickly, , there's no bluetooth support apex. additionally, neither pressure sensitive. jot touch pixelpoint meanwhile out of price range (up ~$100aud/$77 usd @ most).

oh, , major use stylus handwriting/note-taking.

i'll grateful input/suggestions can provide!

i have jot touch pixelpoint , know has wacom, i've been able compare 2 directly. on ipad mini, difference found tip of wacom rattles around bit more 1 on jot. design bit different of course, , microusb charger on wacom rather unimpressive in comparison magnetic charger on jot - rubber cap not stay attached long. so, if re-buy stylus, i'd go wacom due price.

i'm teacher , use stylus grading on ipad mini 3. i've spent many hours doing jot touch pp, , app use documents/pdf expert (you unlock identical features/code (same bugs even) in documents in pdf expert 5 if have both). ipad mini @ least, using device in landscape mode eliminates offset (which present in portrait) without app being supported. fineline behaved exact same way. still use zoom box though when work though, double on accuracy enhancements. no clue how behaves ipad air, no 1 know uses mini.

small note on pdf expert though, readdle purposefully introduced bug active styli in update released few days ago. changed how palm rejection works in update, utilizing new method makes active styli not register. bug if turn off palm rejection, still won't register in zoom box, apparently forgot make setting palm rejection work zoom box. notified them of bug when first noticed in access (beta) version of app around christmas, , have responded , fixed in latest access version, decided push update app store anyways, despite , other bugs knew being present.

point being, if upgraded pdf expert few days ago, buy fineline right now, , try use zoom box feature, i'd imagine you'll face exact same issue. considering readdle took several months push latest update - "bug fix" update "forgot" tell people introduces several new bugs they're aware of - it's anyone's guess when current access version (which still doesn't fix other bugs know about) make app store.
