retina iMac configuration

my needs not heavy (a bit of logic x heaviest use i'll have). i'm writer, i'm after screen here. movie watching, surfing etc. said, however, stuttering computer annoy me no end. i'm sensitive way.

how of difference i7 processor make in day day operation? scrolling on web jerky without it? want buttery operation.

should mention planning on 24gb ram.

guys think? i7 worth me? or better graphics support better place put money?

configurations known causing machine fan kick in lot? quiet computer.
 

upgrade fusion, graphics, all-ssd, processor. in order. ram can done @ time.

fan on rimac silent unless doing video processing/conversion/output.
