Signed out of iCloud, but it's still lurking?

i signed out of icloud on mid-2015 rmbp 15" (10.10.2), still seems lurking. i've done following:

1. signed out of icloud
2. ensured device removed find iphone

thing haven't done format hard drive, i'd prefer avoid, since it's work computer (but if it's last resort).

problem that:

1. i'm still getting notifications on mbp when add/remove devices icloud account.
2. although i'm signed out of messages, when start app, still has icloud email pre-filled in app/account login window.

so, there step i'm missing scrubbing mbp entirely of icloud account?
