Which MacBook should I buy?

i know there hundred such threads floating around lately, i'm bit stuck on macbook buy know no 1 has used new rmb, it's bit difficult too, thought i'd everyone's opinions regardless.

here's i'll using laptop for:

+ regular web usage, e-mail etc. usual. should note tend have around 10-15 tabs open @ given time work.
+ photoshop work - nothing crazy, resizing/batch processing photos, require photoshop everyday , expect have multiple images open @ given time.
+ imovie - won't using regularly, maybe around once month. edit raw videos (which expect around 20ish minutes each) down 5-10 minutes.
+ watching movies, tv shows etc.

taken new rmb because (i know, i'm shallow) it's pretty , i'd love gold macbook + idea of having "latest" laptop however, more think it, more i'm gravitating towards rmbp (which going buy anyway before new mb announced) because specs seem better. portability isn't *huge* issue me - carry laptop , work, okay size/weight of rmbp i'll okay mba , rmb.

provide little context, i'm coming 2011 macbook pro (2.3 ghz i5 , 4 gb memory) , i've been using past 4 years - haven't upgraded hardware @ *and* i'm still running snow leopard, believe or not know laptop decent upgrade, still need making decision!

don't expect upgrade 4 years @ least, want that'll hold on time.

thoughts? trying make decision between rmb , rmbp because retina screen , new trackpad. i'm trying figure out if rmb adequate needs, or should pay $200 (because i'd want 256gb storage) rmbp. (however, if thinks mba better option me, i'm willing hear them out too.)

well, you're right first item. think discussion in this thread relevant case, , @ least it's pretty short , pretty relevant discussion. way, you're describing not make shallow - really.
