Early-2011 MacBook Pro went haywire temporarily

i have early-2011 macbook pro. several weeks ago swapped out hard drive ssd , added 16gb of ram (purchased crucial), both of supposed compatible w/ model. since then, has seemed work fine.

today surfing web, reading article w/ embedded video. of sudden video stopped working, if had lost internet connection. checked wifi drop-down, , looked strange. had text have never seen before "airportturnoffkey," etc., , no wifi network checked off. when looked @ browser tabs, acting bizarre (as seen in video). closed out of , noticed computer's menu bar blinking. force shutdown, restarted, , seems running fine. fan running. ran avast virus scan, turned nothing.
