iPhone App Store updates hanging

app updates haven't occurred on 5s since jan. 28. manually updating them accomplishes nothing. how can fix this?
 

are on ios 8.1.3? if so, go settings > itunes , app store. click on apple id @ top, click sign out. afterwards, sign in, , make sure when sign in type email in lowercase (e.g. bob@gmail.com). turn on automatic downloads updates after signing in. if you're on cellular data , don't have access wifi, go settings > cellular , ensure app store turned on (but forewarned use lot of data).
