Copy File Applescript fails when blank in file name

i'm trying write applescript finder copy file 1 directory another. works "normal" file names. however, when use filename has blank in name, fails. message

finder got error: can’t set folder "macintosh hd:users:frederickochs:church:photos:deleted scans" file "macintosh hd:users:frederickochs:church:photos:scans:vw0000 3.jpeg".

script is

tell application "finder"
copy file "macintosh hd:users:frederickochs:church:photos:scans:vw0000 3.jpeg" folder "macintosh hd:users:frederickochs:church:photos:deleted scans"
end tell

there way work?
