Mac Mail won't send

hello. have older macbook pro using yosemite , mac mail. out of blue yesterday, mail stopped sending emails. sit in outbox, no error message appears, nothing happens if select , direct send them. have 3 different email accounts (icloud, earthlink, , gmail) set , won't send of them. no problem receiving mail. nothing has changed, same internet connection, same computer, etc.

able send (using same server) iphone.

have looked around, , see suggestions delete , re-add account, when go i'm warned (existing) messages lost, not workable solution me. plus, if it's 3 of accounts misbehaving, not seem that's problem.

so, server, or within macmail? i'm not computer literate keep suggestions simple, please. , helping!
