File sharing and iCloud accounts for authentication with 'Sharing only' account

hi all

been playing on os x 10.10 , server 4.0.3 - feel i'm missing here getting file sharing , icloud authentication working? or just... broken?

on server i've added new user under system preferences > users , groups > + user > choose 'sharing only' , 'use icloud password' - via system preferences because in server app don't option use icloud password. suspicions of being 'broken' come from.

when on client, go finder , server in sidebar, hit 'connect as' in top right, , try auth icloud account window 'shakes' when password wrong.

if set account on server 'standard' account , instead of 'sharing only' still icloud password, works fine on client.

don't want have add every 1 in company standard account, when file sharing.. 'sharing only' should trick! ;-) (one hell of long list of names on login screen too...!).

missing or have apple messed up?

you need setup network users in server -> users

not system preferences local users.
