Is there fan control software that works on a 2010 Mini?

so, long story short, 1 of hdd temp sensor connectors (there 2 sensors stuck 320gb hdd in mini) broke off system board. originally, putting in ssd , didn't realize connectors pulled , instead pulled 1 horizontally out , connector came out it. now, when power on, fan going @ fastest speed (with original hdd or ssd).

i've tried 3 different fan control softwares (istat, macfancontrol , 1 other one) , none of them seem control fan speed.

possible control, via software, fan speed on 2010 mac mini? otherwise, suppose need buy new system board?

also, assuming normal, installing ssd cause fans run full speed or stick temp sensors on ssd , fans should ok?

thanks.

smcfancontrol has command line options allow control fan speeds.
