iPad 2 with iOS 8.2 Performance?

i'm spoiled air 2 tell sure, feels 8.2 improvement on old ipad 2 on 8.1.3. have old ipad 2 work did upgrade 8.1.x , tried 8.2 on it.

trying decide if safe enough have parents update.
 

i think parents fine. daughter pretty in tune how ipad 2 works , after latest update she's content that's sign.
