Is retina display worth an MBP change?

i have presently mid 2012, 13" mbp loaded core i7, 16gb of ram, , 512gb ssd, , can choose open case make future changes ssd. computer works fine purposes. so, question simple one. lack of retina display mean lacking absolutely significant in mbp experience, or nice thing have. don't intensive graphic work, or play lot of games, read lot on internet , @ videos. opinions?
 

in case, it's nice thing have.

unless you're working photos, graphic design or other visual creative work, retina display isn't absolutely necessary.

don't me wrong though, have retina macbook pro, , when "nice have," mean nice. if use , go regular screen, will notice difference.

but, it's not necessity, particularly describe. if you're not ready shell out cash on new mac, can , should stick have.
