Email App Is Taking Up So Much $$@$ing Space!

for technical info: have apple ipad 3 (16gb) running ios 8.1.3, 2.1 gb available.

last few months, have noticed mail app has grown large. don't send out lots of emails (maybe 1-4 day, tops), receive 4-5 day. when first got ipad friend of mine (who erased of data , settings) in mid august, mail app 20mb. ever since that, grew , grew. , of 4-24-15, @ whopping 1.0gb , getting bigger! have read every other blogpost, message, post, etc., , have not found answers. have cleared inbox, sent mail, trash, mail, , spam folder hundreds of times, doesn't work. please me!!! :mad: point want take outside 12gauge , shoot it!
 

i asked bf , had 2 thoughts.

1. using gmail. cause gmail if think cleared mail doesn't. rolls right over. need go go gmail on website , under settings imap turn off show mail. keep archiving not include on iphone etc

2. bug in install of ios 8. try backing , doing restore , update.

okay, know how battery cycles , work. want know is: how many cycles battery has how old battery is how many mah macbook shipped with how many mah have now reading thread on different site macbook batteries , commenting battery info. of them commenting saying reached 120 cycles per year. 1 guy said mac 3 years old on 250 cycles (avg. 83 year). think person had 400 after 2 years. in 'system information' says age of macbook 3 months old (when arrived said 1 months old, i've had 2 months) , have 98 cycles, using many cycles? i'm asking because realised apple batteries more or less useless @ holding charge after 1000 cycles , if i'm averaging 100 every 2 months gives me 1.7 years until macbook more or less desktop... to me seems poor previous windows laptops owned lasted long , expect lot more machine on £1k. Weird behavior on external monitor

i have external monitor (nec pa271w) has custom calibrated profile. problem i'm having whenever i'm on safari , use magic trackpad go previous page colors off while page reloads. once it's loaded colors go custom profile. after lot of reading found out if set system preferences - display - color srgb iec61966-2.1 colors match , page reloads faster. here's example of i'm seeing while go 2 finger gesture. issue happens using coverflow in finder. has experienced same issues on external monitor? driving me crazy   Forums Macs Mac Accessories iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Computers Apple Music Professional Applications iPod iWork Apple TV iLife Wireless
