General iTunes 12.1 breaks downgrading

ok, i'm reading, itunes 12.1 breaks ability downgrade ios 8.1.2. being said, had new mac (long story in case can't restore old one) , automatically upgraded itunes 12.1.

how downgrade itunes 12.0.1? watched video tutorial i'm still kind of lost. read can use app cleaner untinstall itunes 12.1 delete folder music > itunes.

so, move folder desktop , reinstall 12.0.1 , move music > itunes back? or, have move folder @ all?

can't find clear , concise answer anywhere.
 

you have remove first installed apple...apple application support, apple mobile device support, icloud , itunes 12.1.

rename itunes library.itl itunes library.bak

restart computer.

install itunes 12.0.1
