Hard drive benchmark for Mac?

is there hard drive benchmark software mac? not disk speed test writes , reads file, actual benchmark program tests speeds of parts of disk , tests seek time , stuff. disk speed test writes file , gets placed @ end of data, if drive full placed near center slower , speed test wont accurate.
