i new app designing , design simple chat bot app. found open source sample code on web such application, written mac app , runs on mac terminal. wondering if work if import code xcode , choose iphone app development?

ios not provide user visible console (stdin , stdout), @ minimum need add sort of ui views , controllers input , text output code port. other user io, many posix , foundation calls used unix terminal , os x apps supported ios, not apis expect launch other processes or access full (outside sandbox) file system.
