Can't get out of Start Up Disk Loop

i think mac mini possessed. it’s acting strange. i’m pretty computers 1 has me stumped.

have 3 hard drives 10.10.2 on of them. have main drive use everyday , everyday second drive superduper, , have third drive keep around emergency purposes. recent backup yesterday. of hard drives new (a few months old) , 4 tb.

started when booted main drive third (emergency) drive @ old document on there. when done reading went startup disk , switched main drive again, , went store. when got turned mac on, received circle line through on screen, tried boot again, had same results.

when main hard drive wouldn’t boot tried boot backup drive. surprisingly same thing happened, displayed circle line through it. thought maybe usb hub both drives plugged went bad, plugged both drives directly mac. didn’t help. tried boot third drive , booted fine.

went disk utility , did repair on first drive , second drive. both drives ok. tried boot main drive again, time held down shift key. same results circle , line through it. tried command - r. same results. held down option key , manually selected main drive. surprisingly booted third drive. rebooted , held down option key again, time selected backup drive. booted third drive again. tried reset parameter ram (option-command-p-r) booted third drive again. tried start in safe mode again, booted third drive.

getting frustrated decided internet recovery. started install lion , when done downloading rebooted - into third drive. installed 10.10 , guess what? yep, rebooted third drive again. unplugged third drive , booted up, , got circle line through it. plugged third drive in , booted third drive...

won’t out of loop startup disk , keeps booting third drive, though both main drive , backup drive report ok.

how out of loop? else can try boot main drive?
