Keep Time Machine backup after Partitioning

i bought external harddrive few days ago. backed mac before wiping computer , doing clean install of os x.

want backup windows pc. (i have installed extension allow disk utility partition nsft.) however, when try partitioning it, says doing erase previous time machine backup. how can partition drive while saving backup?
 

i'm little help, there thread month or ago on subject. think have shrink existing partition on windose machine , reallocate freed space second partition... shrinking or stretching has risk. if me, i'd buy drive :)
