SLOW internet

i did speed test on speedtest.net , got super slow speeds! there way fix this?

ping: 73
download speed: 1.28 mbps
upload speed: 0.68 mbps

i'm using osx 10.8 mountain lion.
 

assuming using mac pro , not macbook pro (some people these forums mixed up) problem not computer.

slow internet periodically , computer has never been problem (i've got 2008 mac pro running mavericks).

it's router. solution turn off router, , bridge device (which converts radio signals router-friendly) wait couple minutes, turn on. resets connection isp.

situation bit unique, internet signal line of sight radio transmitter couple miles away, , trees or weather can affect signal, start assumption it's router, , of time is.

in rare occasions when power-cycling router doesn't work, call isp solve problem, in "yeah, we're having issues here" or "we're repairing transmitter" or whatever.
