Recovering data from old harddrive

hi guys.

till yesterday had perfect yosemite install. received boot error couldn't work around, decided buy ssd , start fresh.

installed yosemite on ssd, hit me.

have itunes music , photos on hdd yesterday.

plugged 1 in too, , have problem accessing files. they're there, don't have permissions.

can tell me how around this, don't have begin collections scratch?

what happens if "get info" on drive , select "ignore ownership"
