Is the super zoom all in one the future of photography?

ok, it's friday , i'll throw out fun :cool:.

we've had few friendly discussions on future of photography. form unseat or surpass dslr or ever? cell phone cameras? mirrorless or m4/3 cameras. tech haven't thought of?

these new model super zooms? nikon p900 out , starting lot of interest.

trade dx body , bag of lenses single body/lens combo 16mp sensor , 24-2000mm f/2.8-6.5 lens (that wasn't gimmick)?

there lot p900 can't do. it's low light stink (iso 6400) , sharpness not measure pro fx kits , it's putting out pretty impressive.

but, if nikon can build camera...what if put of fx , pro lens brain power building true pro in 1 super zoom? p900 $600 camera , it's kinda awesome is. extrapolating engineering costs, capability, , consumer costs....what p900 cost 5x ($3000) capable of?

possible future path of photography? if nikon built $3k - $4k p900 camera rivaled d750 24-70 , 70-200 f/2.8 i'd pretty tempted give whirl. wouldn't need 2000mm. 600mm pretty awesome.

ok, i'll play. pro glass user, i'd love have 1 lens replace them all, 24mm-200mm f2.8 replace lot. of course won't happen. distortion awful.
plus nikons point of view, make more selling me range of lenses, developing 1 outside people's price range.
