Refurb MBA or refurb rMBP

hello wonderful people of internet! (or trolls, guess)

anyway have decided abandoning 3 year old windows laptop (except gaming, still reason) in favor of shiny new (or in case refurbished) macbook, using for:

streaming video, surfing web (forums, social media ect.), light photoshop , video editing (i'm photoagrahy), school/homework, not torrenting things, playing odd low graphics indie game/roguelike , possibly setting parallel run linux or windows.

main deciding factors portability(i taking school), battery life(previous reason), ram/speed(for paralells, photoshop , games), storage(will download lots of stuff, use sd card, old laptop or family nas this).

-much less powerful rmbp
-less ram
-worse screen rmbp



note: prices in cad, while 2 pictures above models i'm considering, if can find version relatively same price better suited, feel free post them down below, want computer last @ least 3-4 years.
 

to last 3-4 years, i'd suggest saving/stretching 2.6/8/256 rmbp.

if that's impossible, rmbp - ram , cpu mean more useful down road, , can use external storage, whether in cloud or external drives. rmbp seems hold resale better.
