Calling all Excel Guru...Again!


alright, time made file guys can see want achieve:

there 2 tabs in workbook. on "good" tab, dates converted first of month. instance, 3/13/14 on "date" column 3/01/14 on "mm/yy" column.

on "bad" tab however, "mm/yy" looks same in "good" tab still retains same date value in "date" column. instance, 3/13/14 on "date" still 3/13/14 on "mm/yy".

mm/yy on "good" tab result want. did once...remember involved pasting clipboard forgot how again. can enlighten me? thank you.
 

your file says deleted. regardless, if you're trying first of month given date, try:

a1 3/13/2015. in b1, put:

= date(year(a1), month(a1), 1)

if end of month, there's built-in formula = eomonth(a1, 0)
