In a jamb: Late 2008 MacBook Pro USB Windows Install

hello folks, i'm in jamb. first off, lovely machine late 2008 unibody 15", had complication , hdd sata controller no longer functions, bought cd bay standard sata connector inside. now, i'd try installing windows 7 on separate partition. i've tried virtualizing, doesn't quite cut me. way see myself doing install usb, can't afford external cd drive enclosure. i've tried using refit, multiple isos , methods, helpful @ point. other method see feasible installing macbook pro , swapping windows hdd 1
