Started using Safari after Chrome

ive stopped using chrome due resource hogging , started using safari.

having problems adding new bookmarks/folders safari. keep getting message , safari crashes. won't let me delete preloaded bookmarks.

ideas going wrong ?

try resetting safari using safari menu. export bookmarks plain html chrome , try again. way crome exporting bookmarks try sort of extension export them , see if works
