i5 of i7 for new iMac?

hello, new forum , kind of new apple.

i'm looking buying new imac since windows pc have on way out. use imac @ work , fell in love them (and i've been iphone user few years now), that's want next home computer be.

want 21.5" imac
2.9ghz quad-core intel core i5
8gb (two 4gb) memory
1tb hard drive
nvidia geforce gt 750m 1gb video memory

don't know technical side of computers. i've done little bit of research , decided upgrade ram 16gb, along upgrading 1tb fusion drive.

question basically, should spend $200 , upgrade i7 instead of i5 too, or save $200 else?

i'll using general use, photoshop (just photo editing) , gaming, , want last long time. gaming i'm worried about, want able play games without issues. difference noticeable? research i've been leaning towards saving $200 figured i'd make thread here advice first.

decision stopping me buying it, once make mind on i'll ready.
 

you might better spend $200 on upgrading ssd (solid state) drive depending on space requirements.
