i'm running 10.8.5. since upgrading 10.8.5 10.6.x, system has been doing 2 annoying things. 1. within window, if have file selected (highlighted), @ bottom of window. scroll way top (not selecting other file), , selected file off screen (can't see it). copy file window first window (the file being copied starts "a" should show scrolled in first window), once it's finished copying over, window automatically scroll down file had selected earlier. without fail. happens other activity being done on system. window alway scroll highlighted file ever in window. has never happened 10.6.x or earlier os x. 2. 1 seems happen randomly. whenever select file change it's name (doing single click on name bar), instead of file hit being editable, 10.8.5 select random file down list instead. making file editable. experience these? there fix, or option somewhere turn ridiculous features off? don't know apple doing thes...

just purchased subject scanner make life paperless possible. want connect via wifi (instead of usb - can't use both simultaneously), wife can access pc - allowing our ios devices use too. have connected mac via wifi using epson software, mac (running 10.9.5) won't see "natively" - meaning can use included epson software - pretty rudimentary. can't use devonthink or paperless or vuescan (or image capture) see scanner. when try add via system prefs/printers , scanners using ip address, pulldown box, epson section, doesn't list drivers workforce ds-560....even though apple says it's supported model on support site. think it'd work if switch scanner connected via usb, load drivers way, disconnect usb , go wireless? drivers "stick"? advice appreciated.   just tested out connecting via usb. mac recognizes right away , can scan thi...

i have 20gb worth of photos , videos in icloud photo library (as reported various devices when in icloud management tab). reason however, both ipad , iphone both using twice photos. if in settings tab, both correct correct amount, when connected mac, itunes reporting on 40gb of space used. if turn off icloud photo library , delete photos, 40gb reclaimed, turning on (with keep originals on device setting) claims 20gb, gradually expands 40 (as reported itunes) originals being downloaded. not trust itunes in case, odd thing although ios devices report correct amount of space used photos, total amount of free space short 20gb (exactly amount itunes claiming belongs photos). has experienced before? p.s. have tried restore devices, behaviour same.   itunes shows have twice space being used photos have. it's bug in itunes.   ...

so bought tempered glass privacy screen protector new screen replaced on iphone 5 protected day 1. think 1 of biggest mistakes made. first off, screen protector made out of plastic , not legitimate glass , tell. had 1 bodyguardz on brother's phone , privacy 1 felt cheaply made compared it. privacy 1 flex more, more real tempered glass one. also, wasn't of privacy screen protector. tinted black screen protector , barely see screen in normal lighting conditions @ full brightness. stupidly decided let go , used few months. fast forward week ago , accidentally dropped iphone on concrete. should have been fine "tempered glass" protector had, when examined phone, looked there no damage done , fine. when turned on phone, screen severely cracked , looked bad. pretty surprised. protector did nothing , stayed intact while screen cracked underneath. not good. ended needing replace screen *again*. $60 total spent in repairs on i...
